Shipping Policy

We have chosen to partner with in an effort to offer top-level customer service to you. We don’t mark up shipping charges. You pay what we pay, plain and simple.


If you’re local or want to travel to Colorado, we’d love to have you pick your new frame up in person complete with FREE high 5’s, coffee, and beer.


  • All frames are under warranty for a period of 2 years.
  • Our warranty ONLY covers premature weld and tube failure under normal use.
  • Incorrectly assembled, heavily worn, abused, miss-used, dented, misaligned, or crashed frames will NOT be warrantied.
  • Warranty is only valid for the original owner.
  • All frames are warrantied at our sole discretion.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

  • Any return must be initiated within 10 days of receipt of the frame by emailing us.
  • All returned packages must be received within 30 days of the date your order shipped from us.
  • Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method.
  • We do not have an “exchange” process – simply return your item and place a new order for the alternate item.
  • We will refund the original order as appropriate.
  • Shipping is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.
  • All payments, including deposits for bicycle frames and bicycle components, are non-refundable.
  • We will only exchange incorrect, defective, or damaged (from shipping) products.
  • Damage caused by shipping, or incorrect or defective products must be reported and documented within 3 days of receipt.
  • Other visible defects or cosmetic blemishes must be reported and documented within 3 days of receipt of the frame.
  • If blemishes are disclosed and discounted by Rooted Bicycle Co before shipment, and the buyer agrees to accept shipment regardless, said blemishes are not grounds for returns at a later date.
  • Any frames that are reported as being damaged or blemished must be re-packed and ready for return shipping within 10 business days. We will arrange for the return shipment.
  • Returned blemished or defective frames that show any signs of use will not be exchanged.
